About Me
Candles have a way of transforming a space, making it feel warm, inviting, and personal. That’s what first drew me to candle-making back in 2020, after I had to close my personal training business during the pandemic. What started as a creative outlet, making candles, wax melts, lip balms, and more, quickly grew into a full-time joy. This led me to open my own retail store, Spirited Flame in Kyabram, Victoria, stocking not only my candles but also flowers and unique gifts.
Before that, my path was anything but traditional. I spent years in corporate administration, unexpectedly found myself in IT and IT adjacent roles for almost a decade, and then followed my love for health and wellness by running a personal training business for close to 12 years. But I’ve always been drawn to creating something that makes people feel good.
In 2024, I made the decision to close my shop and focus entirely on candle-making. Every candle I create is thoughtfully designed to do more than just look beautiful, it’s about creating a feeling, a moment, a connection to your space and your lifestyle.
I feel it takes a little bit of bravery for any person who creates and hand makes a product to decide that the thing you’ve been working on, your creation, is something that’s worthy of having a special place in someone’s home.
